Dieses EIFE ist ein integriertes Ethernet-Schnittstellenmodul, das für MasterPact MTZ Leistungsschalter mit Einschubtechnik entwickelt wurde. Es bietet einen einzelnen Ethernet-Zugang und empfängt alle vom MasterPact MTZ-Steuergerät gelieferten Daten. Der Datenfluss ist 10/100 Mbps für eine einfache Daisy-Chain-Verbindung über zwei RJ45-Buchsen. Der Anschluss an die EIFE-Schnittstelle erfordert einen ULP-Kommunikationsport, der auf dem Chassis des MasterPact MTZ installiert ist. Das EIFE wird auf der Klemmenleiste des MasterPact MTZ-Gehäuses montiert und über ein ULP-Kabel (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) mit dem ULP-Port verbunden. Die Stromversorgung des EIFE erfolgt über den ULP-Port durch das ULP-Kabel. Das EIFE ist vollständig Teil der EcoStruxure Power Architektur und der Ethernet-fähigen Smart Panels. Die EIFE-Firmware kann mit der EcoStruxure Power Commission Software aktualisiert werden.
