Mersen's HP10M photovoltaic (PV) fuse series was specially developed for the protection of PV string wiring for industrial photovoltaic systems with 1000VDC in the industrial and utility sectors. The robust construction makes them ideal for continuous temperature and current cycles and extends the life of the system. The HP10M with 1000 VDC, designed for low minimum breaking capacity of 1.35 times the fuse rating, enables safe circuit interruption in the case of typical low fault current conditions generated by PV generators. In addition to the standard terminal, parts with crimp cap terminals for inline fuse links are available. The unique cable crimp terminal (CC option) enables a solderless connection of cable and fuse for overmolding of fuse and wiring.
