Mersen Protistor fuse links 1250 / 1300V for semiconductor protection allow for a high degree of flexibility when used to protect modern power converters. It is a very nimble series, which in its entirety is capable of producing power semiconductors such as To protect diodes, thyristors, MOSFET and IGBT components. Protistor fuse links in various sizes and numerous nominal currents enable the greatest possible degree of device adaptation. The fuses contain fusible conductors firmly embedded in sand in order to ensure very good total shutdown integral (I2t) and high switching capacity. The contact surfaces are silver-plated and all components are non-magnetic. All fuses in this series have a function indicator which, in addition to its visual display function, can also be used to remotely report the fuse function by means of an additional microswitch. The fuses have an M8 thread connection.
