Mithilfe der Flügel wird die Membrandose M1 60 direkt an der Stahlarmierung befestigt. Für die Befestigung an der Schalung ist weder ein Gegenlager noch ein Stützelement nötig. Durch die besondere Konstruktion der Flügel wird der Normabstand zu Türschalungen von 15 cm eingehalten. Je nach Befestigungsrichtung der Flügel an der Membrandose ist eine Betonüberdeckung von 20-60 mm möglich.
